Example projects from the Basecamp team

Go backstage with the Basecamp team to explore real projects and learn how we use Basecamp everyday.

Creating the fine-tuned Basecamp mobile site

From the ground up, we created a mobile-only version of Basecamp that has everything you need, and nothing you don’t. Take a look at how quickly it all came together.

Creating the all new Everything page

In just a matter of days, we created an all new page to serve as a gateway to see all discussions, to-do lists, files, text documents, and forwarded emails from all of your Basecamp projects.

Designing the blank slate for Basecamp

The blank slate is the initial state of an application right after someone signs up. Getting this right is important to us. We captured all the work that went into designing the all new Basecamp’s blank slate.

Kicking off major features with Basecamp discussions

The Basecamp calendar was the last major feature we designed before releasing the all new Basecamp to the world. With such an important feature, we went through over 110 Discussions, 180 to-dos and shared over 200 files to make sure we made the best web-based calendar available today.

Using Basecamp to create the new export feature

Recently we added the ability to export your Basecamp projects and files into a tidy, self-contained web site you can download to your computer and view in your web browser. We went back and forth with 23 Discussions to ensure this feature was done right, with our customer’s safety in mind.
